From Buenos Aires to Calgary

Marina is a global chef, culinary consultant, and co-founder of the upcoming cruchef.com, a worldwide platform for booking private chefs. She loves to travel, discover new flavours, and cook with passion. Today, her work focuses on private chef experiences around the world, corporate team-building events, and restaurant consulting. She is also the author of two cookbooks, Cook Like a Latin Lover and Fire.

Born in Buenos Aires into an Italian-Argentinean family, Marina studied art and worked in the food industry before becoming a chef. Her Argentinean roots, warm sense of humour, and infectious smile have helped her build an international reputation.

Marina became a chef because she loves people. She believes in the concept of “breaking bread”—bringing friends and family together over great food, good music, and plenty of laughs.

Her philosophy is simple:

cook thoughtfully, with love, and with less waste.

Through hands-on cooking classes, private dining, custom sauces, and unique food events, Marina encourages people to care about where their food comes from. By cooking with intention and being present at the table, she believes we can build stronger children, tighter families, and better communities.
